What's your story?
Yoga has allowed me to create my own happiness and live a life with purpose. I love having the opportunity to create a space to bring people together to do the same in their own life. I thank all my teachers for creating that space for me and sharing the light. In 2012 I began a weekly yoga practice which quickly grew to a daily practice on and off the mat. In 2016 I learned of the One Love Long Island yoga festival and began what I like to call the "OLLI Tour", using the 20 free passes offered from the participating studios to try new things: studios, teachers, classes, types of yoga. I believe trying new things allows us to grow, especially when it’s tough or we don’t enjoy it. That tour led me to Revolution Yoga, and a few months later, yoga teacher training.

My time on the mat allowed me to realize my passion for volunteering, so I signed up for various volunteer projects through my firm’s corporate social responsibility program. Working with at-risk & foster children & teens, I wanted to offer the opportunity for all to experience yoga; to decide to have it as part of their life. After completing the 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017, I spent a few months teaching a weekly yoga class at a teen shelter locally. Since January 2018, I teach a weekly community class raising awareness for United We Om, a non-profit bringing yoga across social boundaries including these teens.

What do you teach?
I enjoy teaching a weekly donation-based class, sharing yoga with the community and allowing others to give back to their community while giving back to themselves. The class is open level, which to me means you walk in the doors looking for something and you walk out with what you need, taking time on your mat to create yourself and just breathe. We all don’t look the same off the mat, we shouldn’t look the same on the mat; options offered and beginners welcome.

What are your greatest passions in life?
My dog Kramer, reading, yoga, volunteering, being on my couch & planking daily.

How do you plan on changing the world?
Believing in the power of volunteer and creating a ripple of love until it becomes a tsunami of love. "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples" Mother Teresa

How many passport stamps do you have?
Italy, England, Spain, Ireland, Aruba, Mexico (Cabo) & lots of traveling in the United States and also Puerto Rico & Canada
