You’ve heard so much about yoga, you know it’s supposed to be good for you–make you strong, flexible, focused and disolve stress. But you don’t know where to begin (or what it actually is). Or maybe you’ve done the videos, but how do you know what you are doing is O.K.?

At Revolution Yoga, we are here for you. We've created classes for people just like you! People who have never done yoga before or have tried a class and have left a bit confused. We’ll guide you, step-by-step, as you discover this wonderful practice. A great way to begin is with our easy to understand and accesible class YOGA NEWBIES. Each class covers:

  • Brief background on what yoga is, in general, and the style we teach
  • Simple breathing exercises that are common to our practice
  • Foundation yoga postures and how to adapt them to your abilities and needs.
  • How to link postures together in our wonderful, juicy flow.
  • We repeat things a lot so you are sure to learn them. And, we also make time to teach you how to modify the postures to accommodate your body and its unique needs.

While it is not required, we strongly recommend beginning with the YOGA NEWBIES CLASS to help ensure that you begin your journey from the most enjoyable and empowered place possible. And, chances are, you will end up with a new set of yoga-friends along the way. Our community is shaping up to be super supportive and friendly.

Classes are weekly. Please check our schedule here for "Newbies" classes. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class so we can get you into the system. Also please inform your teacher of any injuries, concerns, and goals you may have. We're here for you!
